PO Box is committed to keeping our community safe while balancing multiple needs within the community that uses our space. For instance, while it may be safer for Covid control to insist that food and drink only be served outside, that changes the way we can show care for community members who do not have consistent access to food and shelter. In addition, we cannot police everyone who uses our space, it is impossible. Instead, we will make sure that everyone knows about our policies and encourage us all to follow them in accordance with our mission of community care.
Each indoor program must indicate one of the following mask policies:
Two air purifiers will always be running during indoor programs.
Performers and facilitators of programs can opt out of using masks, but a discussion must be had with them ahead of the program. A performer or facilitator may decide to wear a mask, ask the audience permission to unmask, or not wear a mask. If the performer or facilitator absolutely does not want to wear a mask, it needs to be part of the publicity for the program.
Food and drink may be served indoors or outdoors according to the wishes of the event organizers.
Our covid policies will be posted in the space and on our website, and the mask requirement on the front door.
